The one that just left was a 12 year teacher there. And supposedly it did have something to do with the principal (no shock). Rumor is that WBRZ is doing another investigative story into what's going on at the school.

Still battling to get my now (to be) 1st grader and (to be) Kindergartener in a school out here because I refuse to send them to Walker. We’ve had to homeschool/pay for someone to come in and teach our children the end of last year and this year. It’s been ridiculous and this board feels they do not have to answer to tax payers who have children in this parish. I have a total of 100 emails from parents who sent complaints to board.. I was forwarded with request for Walker Elementary to put on the agenda and they refuse. Who knows how many more requests of those who haven’t reached out to me.

It’s a corrupt good ole boy system out here. Most people are scared to speak out and the teachers who have not left the parish will be punished if they publicly speak out. New teachers from WES have already reached out again this year about this Principal.

We have now after 8+ months hired an attorney to handle this moving forward. The Superintendent, Wentzel is aggressive and unprofessional. LP won’t give us a transfer, discuss the situation being handled improperly or answer how it will be handled differently.

LPSB’s extremely smug attorney denied our request to meet with LP Superintendent and Principal to discusss the situation and how we can move forward with feeling safe enrolling our children.
