Good luck with that. Most of the world leaders don't have the brass to stand up to China. Not when they have no leverage.

Also government intervening with the private sector can get nasty. Corporations don't care where consumer goods are made or made up of, as long as it doesn't cost them too much long term.

I don't ever see goods like clothes or shoes ever being made here. It is the life saving medical supplies that will be made here because the government will have to force the issue or be in the same boat next time.
