And you paid through PayPal. However, once you received the car you realized it didn’t have a transmission. The car would run but it wouldn’t go. Would you expect PayPal to judge in your favor in a dispute? What if the seller’s reply was that he didn’t know it was missing?

Any mention of the transmission?

No. This is a hypothetical.

So someone detailed the car as everything working and nothing missing. Then it shows up without a transmission, a required, not optional part.

I would think PayPal would side with you, but they are a private company.

You would probably have to get more than them and their BS "protection plan" provider involved.

Well, I would assume that ignorance isn't an excuse.

Especially if you are saying everything it fine with the car. It would mean you didn't even try to drive it.

Is it possible for me to change the rear windshield wiper?

Do the tires need to be zeroed out?

How many phone books does it come with?

So did he know the transmission was missing or not?

The story is changing.

Story is not changing. He said it was brand new and he did not need it. He also he was not aware it was missing.
