The flaw in your thinking was that campus was "open". Even though it's fall break, the employees (office staff, faculty, etc.) still have to go to work. You may have gotten away with it if you were in a student lot and not an employee lot.

Same thing as if you don't pay other tickets. They catch you and you stand trial in front of the Galatic Federation

Actually if you owe LSU any money they will give you your degree but when you show up for graduation instead of a diploma you will receive an invoice inside of your nice diploma holder. You can go through graduation ceremonies, your degree will be in effect and you will be allowed to receive transcripts showing you graduated
Take it from someone who knows.....I finally paid up several years later and received my diploma.
