some, yeah absolutely... i think we all know of a place around us that would be the "one that fills all the oxycontin"....

but some of us are tight as frick with our shite.... i don't do early fills... 2 days before due date, based on the last SALES date, not fill date, meaning if you fill on the 4th and picked up on the 7th, i go by the 7th, since you can't take it if it's sitting in a bag at my pharmacy....

some of us personally understand that addiction and the destruction it causes, and would do anything to stop someone else from having to go through that....

Pharmacists deal with the worst society has to offer. The people they deal with are some of the most depressed and addicted individuals around. The people that work for them are just as ignorant. Their store manager is the most ridiculous individual they come into contact with. They have to tune out so many stupid, illiterate, ignorant addicts during their 12 hour shift that they go home miserable and it doesn't matter what they make. They can't enjoy it. One day is more miserable than the last.

and i'm grateful and appreciative of every last one of them.... they put food on my table, clothes on my kid's back, and allow me to then share my wealth with others in need...

one of the things that actually attracted me to pharmacy was the idea of being a "physician to the poor"... i enjoy working and trying to make a meaningful impact in my patient's lives, at each and every opportunity... THAT is what makes me go home totally happy and joyful for my chosen profession... every day is just another opportunity to make another impact, better than the last...

What happens if I mix fluoxotine and trazadone? Not with the drugs mentioned above, but just with each other.

don't see much in the way of drug interactions, just looking at it...

but long term hydro use decreases endogenous testosterone production, which could be the reasoning for the replacement therapy...

That's just not true. I love my job. Everyday I get to help someone improve their health or save money.

The unique aspect of my profession is that people can come speak to me in person when they have a personal question, at no cost, with no appointment. This is a unique privilege and our services are valuable to patients and providers. Good pharmacists save people from going to ER or refer them when needed.

Pharmacist's responsibilities cannot be compared to what physicians and nurses do. I respect and appreciate the differences. In my area the providers also appreciate and depend upon us.

fluoxotine and trazadone

i wanna say there may be a risk of serotonin syndrome... but then again, i see these two used together often, so if that is the case, the risk is probably very small...

I had a back problem a couple years ago, isolated event. Doc in a box prescribed this.

The pharmacist said don't take the nsaids with the steroids, very serious. I forget the details. So I just took the steroids, laid on a heating pad for a couple days, and was fine. Never ended up taking the other stuff.

Anyway, I was glad the pharmacist provided that second look, an additional check/balance. Also, the meloxocam the DR prescribed was going to cost me out the arse, the pharmacist ran all this through my insurance and told me to get the generic unless I wanted to get a big bill later. Again, thankful to the pharmacist for this.

Kroger pharmacist.

Trazodone? yeah... it's one of my top 100 movers... at least the 50mg is.... lots of MDs will give this for sleep, rather than Ambien, or some other benzodiazepine....
