But Nurse, I felt soooo much better after I returned to work. I have not had any ill effects since stopping. Everyone is different though. I just hate taking pills. I have been n almost every pain led there is the last 18 months plus soma, flexirel , and xanax. I have been able to stop taking all of them.
Those aren't anti-depressants. They're white trash meds to make you relax and get fricked up. Xanex is a typically awful drug that fricks with people. As much booze as you drink, Peej, you have no business on that drug.

You felt that way because it was new to your body. The first time I took dilaudid I was like holy shite this stuff is great. Your body does adjust to meds the more you take them. Not saying it won't continue to make you feel good, but don't expect the same kind of rush you got the 1st time you took it.

This thread opens my eyes to all the people who struggle with depression. May you all find peace and happiness.

Peej none of those are antidepressants.
All I'm saying is that if you want to get off antidepressants...there is a safe way to do it and you need to get your doctor involved. Trying to do it on your own could cause you to have serious issues, including serious suicidal thoughts.
