Parklane does have more of a reputation for having a preppy stuck up attitude if that matters though.
I think everyone in the MPSA hated Parklane in my day, even the big Jackson schools
The only thing I remember about OFA is they had a big dude named Fitzgerald and I had to tackle him about 40 times
I even succeeded a few times

Dakota. Was a couple years ahead of me.
Dude was physically intimidating just sitting down eating cereal. I think OFA won state his senior year.
He’s actually an active board member at OFA now.

Y’all won state in 2A and we were state runners up in lower 3A
Y’all beat us like 40-0

Yeah that team felt pretty invincible.
I don’t know if it was that year or a previous one but that team was held together under strict discipline from the head coach.
Rumor mill was dude knocked a player that mouthed off to him at practice on his arse with a headbutt.
Kid had a helmet. Coach obviously didn’t. And he just continued practice not caring his head was bleeding.
No one ever crossed him again.
I was actually the relay for questions in a class with him because the girls were too intimidated to speak in front of him.
