Not to worry.
I had it done with only local anesthesia.
It was no different than getting a filling.
The worse part was the sore jaw from having it open a little longer than for other procedures and it will take several visits before it is complete.

How would this work if it’s my front tooth lol? Do I have to walk around without a front tooth during this process?

Almost exactly what I had. Went out that night to listen to music. No sweat!

You go to sleep, wake up and go home. It doesn't hurt too much. Takes several more weeks before you get the actual tooth. The temporary one sucks but the permanent one is just like a tooth.

MIL had a single dome and then a bridge of 2 implants supporting 3 teeth. She said it was not that bad if you took the meds. The worst part is when an infection may start at the base of one of the implants amd they have to crank that screw back out and perhaps move it over a spot. She had every thing go wrong that can possibly happen and it’s coming up on 2 years and her bridge is still not complete.

Doesn’t hurt but it’s a 3-4 month process before teeth are attached. Worth the wait. But to be fair, got mine in 2020. Involved first removing roots of two broken incisors, then letting that heal, then having the implants (2 to support bridge of 4) put in place, then waiting to be sure bone and implants connected without needing a graft, getting all appointments with surgeon and dentist coordinated, finally the glorious day of having the actual new teeth/new smile! Sounds way more complicated than it was. My biggest surprise was that it took as much time from start to finish. And then, of course, the $$$$$ not a surprise, but still a hefty chunk.
