To my age demographic, “glue sniffer” is an insult. If it wasn’t meant in a negative manner, I apologize for my comment.
I have seen the man's model threads. Very impressive work.
I can assure you. He has sniffed a lot of Testors glue. You can't help but sniff the stuff if the cap is off.

I still consume constantly. History, nature, literature, mythology. I just don’t read words from a book.
God i miss that feeling though, getting lost in a novel, painting all those pictures in my head.
I suppose I write more than anything now.
It’s an obsession. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I munch on a morsel of a moment and it just comes out. And why do I rhyme so much!? It’s a disease. Sometimes I wish I was normal. Boring. Not this mess of a man that I am. I wrote a damn ode to biscuits the other night!
I get really depressed sometimes. That everything i do and write is utterly pointless. Drivel, palp and pablum.
I feel worthless and meaningless and just a damn idiot. But then…luckily I have love to chase away the dark and twisties, demons that plague my mind. They lie. I don’t listen to them. And I just keep going, keep writing, keep singing.
I don’t know why I’m this way

I prefer Tamiya Extra Thin Quick Setting Cement. I do not recommend sniffing it.

As for my hobby, yesterday after church I got to spend an absolutely perfect late fall rainy afternoon in peace & quiet at my model desk working on the next edition of Vader’s Model Desk. Here’s a sneak peek…

Depending on how much free time I have on weekends, I’m hoping to finish this one up in another couple of weeks.

my main "hobby" is pyrography, which is a sort of obscure artform. basically it's woodburning art. i just sort of got into randomly and kept doing it.
other things i enjoy doing are reading (mostly history), working on my old Jeep, backpacking, and jiu jitsu.
like many of you i'm sure, just feels like there's not enough time to do any of them as much as I'd like

Photography and hiking are my two favorites.
Fixing to get a new camera for hiking trips. For the past 9 years I've used the Sony RX100. Probably going to get a new RX, but are there others that size you'd recommend?
Definitely looking for a similar type powerhouse that fits in my pocket.

The attention to detail you put into these things is what makes them so impressive.
Do you do the paint work and all?

Wish I would have taken up repairing pin ball machines in my younger years. But now, taxonomic botany, hunting, attempting to keep my fruit trees alive, keeping grandkids.
