Last year I said 2025 would have to be better than 2024 because it couldn't be any worse. I was wrong. One bright spot is my dad is still with us, so I'm thankful for that.
I begin 2026 without any illusions, but still standing. I'll face whatever comes.

I'm thankful that my husband survived a heart attack in January and quadruple bypass in February. He's doing great! It's genetic but he's doing everything he can to slow the progression of his vascular disease.
