And for the longest time I thought vidalia onions came from Vidalia, Mississippi.

For the record, Vidalia is in La. Once you leave Natchez and cross over the bridge into Vidalia, you've crossed back into La.

Redskins and Chiefs. I don't know why, but I can never keep straight who plays for which team.

Those are not acronyms. Acronyms are abbreviations that become pronouncable words.

HUD, NATO, SEATO, etc.

IRS, NBA are not.
