He's a CPA who does consulting work iirc. The H&R thing is a dig on being an accountant.

Older brother is a CPA with an MBA, has his own firm on the side and teaches college classes. He works too damn much

You're kind of expected to be a workaholic when you're in public. To what extent somewhat depending on the firm. They tell me it's good experience that is making me more marketable though.
