West Monroe man arrested after pretending to be police officer/grabbing people's genitals

West Monroe, LA - A West Monroe man was arrested after pretending to be a cop and grabbing peoples' genitals.
According to an arrest report, 28-year old John Stephenson approached two men in the West Monroe Walmart parking lot Sunday and identified himself as an officer, and then grabbed their testicles.
One male victim got into a fight with Stephenson, who then punched the victim in the face.
He also went up to a woman and said he was with the police before grabbing her butt.
When the real police showed up, Stephenson was charged with multiple counts of sexual battery and simple assault, along with false personification of a peace officer.
He has been booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on a $77,000 bond.
