Yea I’ve been told by the dr.s it’s the delta.
Ask them how they are testing this. What are they doing now that the test system was found inaccurate by cdc?
What is your job?

Any ideas on why this virus is attacking blue states harder than red states? We know it’s an incredibly smart virus that comes out after 10pm and only infects at 16 minutes of contact. Just curious

As of Friday there were a total of 15 people on ventilators in all of the South Central Region, Morgan City, Thibodeaux, Houma, Golden Meadow, etc...
125 total hospitalized for the entire area as well after matching the original spread Spring of 2020 high of 132 in the hospital with 34 on ventilators.
Are you like the veterinarian in Colorado tweeting how her hospital is completely full?
FWIW, an elderly friend was on a ventilator in April for two days and it wasn't due China Virus. He had a bad episode during a heart valve replacement.

Additionally, some hospitals at least in NOLA haven't been taking CV patients but sending them to central locations, such as to Ochsner in Jefferson and Tulane Medical Center, after April of 2020.
There are 11 hospitals in Region 3 (South Central Louisiana) so 15 ventilated CV patients isn't even 2 per hospital

It also includes St. James, St. Charles and Assumption parishes.

Without fear mongering the numbers speak for themselves. At the hospital I work at in SELA, covid admits are 30% higher than the height of the pandemic. 9% of those hospitalized are on the ventilator. Mortality once vented approaches 30%+. We have been using every different modality to avoid the ventilator in covid. So just because someone isn’t currently on the vent doesn’t mean they are going to live. It is very frustrating to see people daily I know will be dead in 7 days.
If you have comorbidities- BMI >25, HTN, DM I would be very concerned about being unvaccinated.
