A few rasslin notes before we get into things

WWE did some more tapings and during those tapings... Nia Jax caught another body or in this case one body for a 2nd time as she apparently cut open Kairi Sane hard way during a match that caused a temporary stoppage to taping while medics made sure Sane was ok

I imagine the only reason that was big rasslin news was due to the fact that it was Nia Jax... who has a history of causing unfortunate injuries to those she works with

Next... tonight could be Matt Riddle's final night on NXT TV as he's expected to get the call up to Smackdown in the very near future, perhaps as soon as this Friday night

And the reason Riddle's apparently going to Smackdown... so he can be on the main roster but not cross paths with Brock Lesnar since the 2 supposedly have legit heat with each other... maybe we'll finally get the big Riddle/Goldberg feud everyone wants

If you watched IMPACT Wrestling last night... you saw the "future endeavor'ed from WWE" Deanna Purrazzo make her debut... marking the 1st of WWE's "Black Wednesday" causalities to make a debut elsewhere (NXT competitors who were let go only had 30 day no-compete clauses, compared to the 90 day no-competes of the main roster personnel)

Dr. Britt Baker DMD will give an update on the injury she suffered on last week's episode of Dynamite. The hope is maybe she'll only be out 4-6 months instead of up to a year as was feared

The Inner Circle, stinging from the Stadium Stampede loss at Double or Nothing, will hold a pep rally to lift their spirits... and hopefully it'll go a lot better than the Festival of Friendship

Mike Tyson will be back on the show for... reasons

Former Impact World Champion Brian Cage should make his Dynamite debut tonight after winning the Casino Ladder Match at DoN... the only question is not if, but how badly, will he murderize Darby Allin

AEW does need to build up Cage quickly since it's been announced already that Cage will challenge AEW Champion Jon Moxley at the next PPV, Fyter Fest

The reign of Shida begins in the AEW Women's Divison... how much better will the division be now that a genetic female holds the belt again

Angle will serve as a special guest referee for the "NXT Fight Pit" cage match between the aforementioned Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher

Rhea Ripley & Io Shirai team up to take on the NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and a partner of her choosing

Tonight was supposed to be an Undisputed celebration of Adam Cole's NXT Championship reign hitting 1 year long, but that has transitioned into a live negotiation between Cole and NXT GM William Regal about the future of the Velveteen Dream

The WWE/NXT Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament closes in on its grand finale as Group A gets decided in overtime with a triple threat match between the 3 competitors who all finished the round robin with 2-1 records each... Kushida vs. Drake Maverick vs. Jake Atlas

Whoever wins that triple threat will take on Group B winner El Hijo del Fantasma in the finals to crown the WWE/NXT Interim Cruiserweight Champion, most probably at NXT TakeOver: In Your House in 10 days

Guys... AEW's new Women's Champion is quite a looker... even if ladies of the orient aren't your thing
