supposedly during the Christmas break (that 1 week when Dynamite didn't air b/c it was Christmas Day) some of the Elite guys/AEW brass went and talked with Meltzer about ways to better the product
Meltzer gave them some honest opinions... and since then they've really picked up their game

If they keep doing shows at this level the ratings should start to go up. They don't really need to sign any big names. Matt Hardy and The Revival coming in certainly won't hurt though.
