re: Wearing a suit and tie, does anyone else hate it?

No, I don’t hate it, but I wasn’t raised in this dressed down society. We wore suits all the time growing up to events, church, and then when I entered the work world. I feel sharp in a suit. I don’t think it should return as game day gear mind you like it did when I was a kid, but the fact it’s so foreign to so many people today is indicative of just how dressed down we’ve become over the years. Hell, there was a time when men wouldn’t go out the house without a suit and hat on to go shopping or downtown or what have you, and today we have people who can’t even dress themselves to go to Walmart. Some can’t even manage a belt to keep their pants up. A lot’s changed. Not all of it’s for the better I’d imagine.
