Water well/pump and power connection

I have a well inside an outdoor shed that I want to tear down. The well only feeds a water hose and a sink inside another shed that I never use. If I just simply disconnect the electrical from the shed before tearing it down, would I be ok with not capping off the well or would I be making a mistake? I know nothing about these things.
ETA: the shed would be gone but the well would remain, hidden by some landscaping.

Does the top of the well pipe have threads? If so just cap it off. If not just stick a five gallon bucket over it. Either way it’s no big deal. It is just a pipe in the ground. It’s not like water is gonna come shooting out of it.

Yep, just cap it off.
The power side, disconnect the feed at the main breaker box all together. You just pull that breaker and then unscrew the wires.
