Awesome NASA

NOT NASA.

SpaceX. Private company. Elon Musk is doing things that superpowers cannot currently do.

Did I hear correctly there when they said this is a re-flight...or the next launch will be it? And is the "Dragon" the command module or the delivery stage?

Like it was said before...there has already been one reflight of the first stage. It too was recovered again.

Dragon is the "command module"...I put it in quotes because it's really not a command module as much as it's an unmanned cargo vessel. The rocket/launch stage is a Falcon 9 rocket.

Holy shite it just landed like it was noting

My entire life I've thought it was crazy that we're able to stabilize rockets during [i]launch[/]. The fact that we can now do it during return, when the rocket and all its momentum are moving in the opposite direction of the thrusters is just insane to me.

Good work nerds!!!!
