When I set it to start a regular was is starts already agitating as it fills up and when it gets to the end of the final spin cycle it does a quick water spray during the final part of the spin cylce and so the clothes are wet when it stops. It's like the cycle timer is off. It's a Whirlpool 5 years old looks like this.

You think if it looked like this it would work better?

"it starts already agitating"
I'm trying to figure out what you're attempting to say.

Normally it fills with water then starts agitating, now it starts out agitating as it fills with water.

Your wife wore it out on the spin cycle.

Just sold my 3 year old washer to get a speed queen after seeing all the people on here talking about it. It has truly been incredible. The machine is a bit smaller but twice as heavy. Made heavy duty. Washed excellent. Cut your losses and get a speed queen.
