Saw what you will but this is no where the same thing in relation With the EBT deal. those people knew for a fact that they only had x amount of money supplied by the tax payers on the card and they went and put whatever they could put their hands on in the buggy knowing they didn't have the cash to pay for it.
The walmart price glitch was an unknown. Sure you can say there is no way that's right but you honestly can't say or prove the price was wrong at the time. If you magically have 10k put in to your checking account that you didn't deposit, and spend it, your required to pay it back right? If your card is ran and approved for 10K due t a glitch, you would still be required to pay that back right? The differences You know your finances.
It wasn't an issue of online posting of free groceries and people showing up.
I bought a item at Walmart or some big chain a few years ago. I want to say it was a polar express train for my son. It was like 300 bucks and when the clerk rang it up, it came up $45.00. I said that's not right, and she replied to me Yes sir, it's a great deal. I still to this day don't think it was that cheap but what am I to do? Go question the manager next?
Theft is taking something that isn't yours with no intentions on paying. Paying some one a ridiculous low price for an item that they listed is good find.

Plenty of people on here ordered things because of the thread on here informing them of the glitch
