Who the frick is arguing about anything with you. Say what the frick you want, but many of us know the real story.
You are obviously butt frick hurt that your regional school doesn't get any cred. That's just the way it is. I have no problem saying that Harvard or Yale is a better school than LSU. You shouldn't have any problems either with LSU >>>>> UL-L-Baldwin

I don't give two shits about name recognition, because I get jobs on my merit, not the school I went to. I don't want to work for anyone that is basing a hiring decision on what school someone went to.
I don't have to say what I want. You want say anything at all, other than "I got my job because of the school from which I received my degree," which we both know is bullshite.

You clearly know nothing of what you post because it is entirely false. No one gets hired just because of the school name pasted on their degree. That would literally lead a company to failure.

Don't get all butt hurt now... Every time someone blows your bogus claims out with logical posts, you just call them butt hurt #1, butt hurt #2, butt hurt #3, and so on. You tell yourself what you have to boost your confidence, but you seem inexperienced and probably not even graduated yet....your degree that you receive from lsu will not stand alone and get you a job over someone else. If you're a new hire fresh out of school, the gpa will play a big role. If you're getting a second job after several years of work experience, no one gives a shite where you went to school.

I don't get the whole UL-L-(insert random city name) thing...what does that even mean? You got your degree from L-SU-Abbieville... Is that how this works? Lol
And I don't think whatever, I actually know that you didn't get your job because your degree says LSU. People get jobs, not degrees. Degrees help people get jobs, location doesn't really matter as long as it's certified by the industry accepted/preferred board. All of us on here can see through your fragile mindset of "LSU degrees are the best," and you make it especially obvious when you start claiming someone is butt hurt as soon as they call your bs. I give you a 2/10 troll attempt at best.

No one here is trying to act like LSU is some elite institution. The thing people have a problem with is how pretentious and delusional USL people are when it comes to their school. You can't just change the name of your college to "University of Louisiana" and all of a sudden be something you never have been and never will be. It just doesn't work like that. This isn't a knock any of the many very capable and intelligent ULL alums. Those are the people who should be the most embarrassed of all by the shameful and embarrassing behavior of their brethren. And don't BS me and say it doesn't happen we all know a dozen ULL people who try to act like ULL is something it isn't.

I agree with all of this, but that has nothing to do with the discussion that LSU grads get better jobs because of name recognition.
ULL, University of Louisiana, no one outside of Louisiana knows who that is. But unless you are a complete moron, you aren't ignoring that guy simply because of where he went to school, just like you aren't going to hire someone from LSU simply because that is where they received their degree.
Neither is any indication of the kind of worker you are looking to hire, especially when both have the same admission standards. It's not like we are talking about someone who got into MIT versus someone who got into ULL. It's LSU and ULL.
