It has nothing to do with that. This day and age, you have to show how progressive you are thanks to younger generations that believe virtue signalling is more important. Being on social media and showing how progressive and virtuous you are is more important than things like, hell I don't know, actually doing good and being kind to others.

The corporations that do this don't really care. It's like the whole immigration debate. Look at all the people who want open borders so badly yet God forbid they host some of these immigrant families in their own homes. Hell they don't want them anywhere near their neighborhood. However being on social media "fighting" for their so called rights makes them in their mind a better person. The perception of being so virtuous is more important than taking action.

This is maybe the 3rd post about this. All y'all are struggling with your feelings, huh?
