I have a suspicion that this is what's going on right now bigely. It's a very corrupt method and won't necessarily be caught for several years until these kids start taking real tests like the act/sat for college. I hope it's not the case, but to focus on actual test taking very heavily for a good portion of the year...at least they're doing it sort of extracurricular and not on regular class time. Should focus those extra programs on extra learning and a little bit of test taking skills. Teaching them to work the system versus learning what goes into the system is bad practice.

Jerome Puyau. From NOLA area but married someone from here. Looks are deceiving but he looks slick. Our kids went/go to Catholic schools so I have no idea about what the issues are but I know my dtr has a classmate and one other friend whose moms both teach at public schools. Don't know of many kids at our school whose parents teach at public here.
