Valentines Day flowers reminder - don’t use 1-800-FLOWERS

They will send your wife a box of roses that she has to put together herself. I made this mistake about 7 years ago and vowed to never use them again. Apparently the fine print explains this but nobody ever reads that.

I did. They used a local florist and my intent was to have them delivered to my wife so she could have exactly what you described - that moment of attention in front of all her coworkers. Instead, they simply used a local florist to supply the flowers inside a box with the vase and preserver mix.
It was embarrassing for my wife and for me as the one sending them. Never again!

This place fricked me. Placed an order last night and after reading this I called to cancel the order or have them shipped to me so I could put them together and deliver myself but they said they cannot do anything because “a shipping label has already been generated.” I had to call her school (first grade teacher) to have the receptionist call me when they arrive Friday so I can leave work and go put them together myself. Thanks for the warning. frick that company.
