Thanks. I live in Alabama as well. Zero hobby shops in my area. Will have to give that place a visit. I’ve gotten most of my kits from EBay. Would prefer visiting a hobby shop.

It’s a crappy Russian tank and frankly not your best work Vader, which is really kinda appropriate. Sorry forgot to finish this, but just kidding but really don’t care for most if the Russian WW2 stuff. They seemed to be mostly quantity over quality.

Yeah. That’s pretty much a wasteland from a hobby shop perspective. I travel to Montgomery a lot and there just isn’t anything there other than some Hobby Lobby Locations. And their selection sucks rancid arse.

But, if you’re willing to drive a little over an hour, the Model Shop is awesome. There is also a Hobby Shop a little bit closer to you called Oak Mountain Hobbies. It’s only a few miles off the I-65 Oak Mountain Exit. They focus more on RC, but still have a somewhat respectable selection.

There’s also Amazon and websites like Mega Hobby and others.

Ohh that does look good. I just checked Mega Hobby and they also have a Takom M48A5.

If you go up to The Model Box, make sure you pet Toby the Chocolate Lab on your way in. He’ll most likely be laying on his bench with his ball. If you throw it for him, he’ll love you for life.

I may have to get that A5. I usually stick to WWII era. But I like the look of that A5.

I have always liked the M48, I prefer it visually over the M60. The M48 just looks right to me.

Thanks. If you liked that, you’ll love my next build.

There’s no doubt in my mind it will be awesome.

Funny, I’m the exact opposite. I think the M60A3 is one of the most badass looking tanks ever made.

There were a few units who still had them when I first enlisted. I always wanted to crew one.
