I may have to look into doing something similar once I retire in a few more years.

The ones you see hanging in that picture are some of the oldest in my collection. I’d say they’re all at least 20 to 25 years old.

I am constantly impressed by how quickly you make these without sacrificing quality. I am a novice when it comes to making models, but I know it takes time to do them correctly.

Tamyia masking tape is what I use as well. I first put a strip of it down on my hobby mat a use my exacto knife to cut out pieces to fit. Here is an example of what it looks like…

An the final result…

the submarines in acrylic are amazing

some look so realistic. Was at the plastic model show in houston one year,

and someone had one there, it was amazing.

More weirdly, why do you care what their reasons are?

I always enjoy seeing your work. How long does it take to complete one of your builds? I realize some can be more intricate than others, just looking for an average.

Have you ever seen how that’s done? I’ve watched some videos on YouTube on how they make those. No way I’d try it, but it is amazing to see.

Thanks. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out, but I was satisfied with the results. I used Tamiya gray panel accent.

The center of gravity on that plane looks so far out of whack with those engine that far forward, however I guess it was a nice flying airplane.

A lot of the German planes during World war II had that same engine forward look.
