I will throw a downvote in that. That country is in the same spot as it was before we got there. AQ/OBL/Taliban or whatever the current flavor of oppression is. Our country is just as vulnerable as it was. Maybe a little safer because you have to take off your belt and shoes at some point to fly.

We also put ourselved $2.3 trillion in more debt while accomplishing absolutely nothing

Is it more of a training issue? Seems like those people have been in war/conflict their whole lives and have seen a good amount of combat, esp in Afghanistan

We have sissy-arse leadership.

Trump would probably have said “ ok, that’s enough. Administer an attitude realignment.”

I would imagine so. Most of the opinions were formed during joint training ops though. I'm sure the special forces of most the countries were ok, but the rank and file I heard about were pretty bad. I'm sure education plays a role also

A senior U.S. defense official said the strikes killed at least six Iranian proxy fighters at Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stations in the Syrian cities of Abu Kamal and Maydin.

Put two zeros after that six and I will say it was a good showing.
