Interlibrary Loan requested a book for me that was mailed from Arizona to Knoxville the second week of March. It's a lot bigger than one piece of mail. That library assigned a due date of May 5. That book hasn't made it to Knoxville YET.
Books don't just disappear and unlike the precooked old Virginia hams they lost a decade ago, I can't imagine them taking random books home for use there.

I mailed some info to the Dept of Revenue that they had requested from me. Mailed it after hours at a self-service kiosk. That was last Wednesday. It said expected delivery was Monday. So Baton Rouge to Baton Rouge takes that long? The tracking number still says 'Information Available Soon'. Pretty sure it will never reach it's destination.

No, worse than that. I moved to BR from Texas at the beginning of 2020. I filed my 2019 federal taxes in July of 2020 using my BR address because, well, that's where I lived. My mistake was filing estimated taxes for Louisiana for 2021. After I sent them the April payment, I guess that triggered them. So they sent me a letter indicating that I filed a 2019 federal return using a Louisiana address, but didn't pay Louisiana taxes. That's true but I didn't live in Louisiana in 2019.
They wanted a copy of my driver's license. Well, they took my Texas license when I got a Louisiana license. They wanted car registration in Texas. Well, I registered my car in Louisiana after I moved. It's hard to produce documentation from over a year a half ago.
My tracking number still says 'Information Available Soon'. I called the Dept of Revenue today and they say that nothing has been added to my file. I asked if there was anything I could do in the mean time to resolve the issue. Nope, just call back in a week or so.
Welcome home.
