I still don't understand why he's upset that people are going on vacation.

I think OP's "friend" owns a bar/restaurant in Lafayette and is upset that Cajuns fans are going to watch the game from the beach in AL instead of at his joint.

I think he feels more betrayed.

I think he feels slighted that he invests in UL and the fans go elsewhere when they could tailgate in Lafayette and spend money in Lafayette.

Just found it odd he would bring up a subject like that, but then again I don't own a business in Lafayette or support USL.

Thanks for being sensible in your response.
The down arrows and insults just make me laugh, I have been on this site long enough to know many here are pissy.

Cry me a fricking river. Some radio station is doing a promo this weekend for a trip to be watch an away game at the beach. I really doubt this would effect your friend's business much at all. Of course I don't listen to 99.9 ktdy so I had never heard of this bs until you brought it up.

Mind telling us the name of this fine establishment? Being that CBS sports network is not carried by the local cable providers ( only satellite), there will probably be people looking for a good place to watch the game

shite the game doesn't even start till 9:30. I doubt most people will be looking for a restaurant to go to at that point.

Food.

I'm confused. So people tailgating in Alabama are buying food in Alabama and this offends somebody in Lafayette?

As easy as it is to start a "frick Lafayette" thread in this forum, you, OP, have fricked this up royally.

Functionally retarded soccer fans, slapping their balls on their keyboards as they listen to the Deuce Bigelow soundtrack have been able to start successful "I hate Laffy" threads, and yet you couldn't construct even the most rudimentary of paragraphs to get your point across.

Next time, just cut and paste the usual Louisville or oohlahlah joke from the MSB (there's usually a minimum of two on the first page of threads).

I don't get what the seemingly hordes of Cajun fans driving several hours has got to do with penis envy.

I saw this quote the other day and was a little puzzled. After coming here I understand it a lot better now.

A lot of ULL fans support BAMA being they're currently LSU's biggest rival. Basically they're aware LSU doesn't view them as a rival so they jumped on the bandwagon to piss us off. Had a former boss do this. Quite pathetic

I highly doubt anyone at LSU cares who USL fans pull for. If they want to look like inbred hillbilly trash in BAMA gear, let them go for it.

This USL fans in BAMA gear stuff reminds me of a 3 year old trying to piss off is big brother.
