Yeah I wouldn’t read too much into them destroying documents. Any country would do this to protect classified documents and cables, so that doesn’t necessarily mean those documents have anything to do with the IP theft in question.

That said, the fact that the we gave them 72 hours to GTFO is pretty interesting. Makes you wonder if there were some new intelligence revelations, or if it’s just a matter of finally coming to an impasse in behind-the-scenes negotiations.

The "Yellow peril" is real to some.


Maybe China should close the US Consul in Hong Kong since its lost its special status anyhow?

Appreciate the fact that the State Dept. did something about this.



Now if only someone would say something to Russia about placing bounties on the heads of our soldiers.
