I find it hilarious that society brainwashed women into thinking that working 40 hours a week in a cubicle gave them purpose whereas raising their children somehow didn’t.

Maybe our dumb frick politicians should do something about this problem.

They should stop destroying the value of the currency, but they won't.

What? A one income couple doesn’t need childcare, the person who isn’t working cares for the child.

Not every person is meant to parent. I’m not sure what gives you the authority to determine what someone should want with their life.

This place is so fricking weird lately. I miss the ms paint threads.

Whether you believe in God or whether you're an atheist who believes in strictly evolution, animals not wanting to reproduce is exceptionally bizarre and unnatural. It speaks to something majorly warped and broken in modern society.

There's not one silver bullet answer it's a combination of factors that have led to this. I think inherently a sense of hopelessness and nihilism has taken root and that's the main reason.

What about people who have known genetic issues? It’s irresponsible of me to breed a mare who will pass down problems, and she’s just a horse. Just gonna leave that there.

Should infertile people just go ahead and rid the world of their useless presence?

Again… this place has gotten really weird lately.

I do think that if men had to carry a child and then also do all of the child raising (minus about an hour or two a day), they wouldn’t have such black and white opinions on the subject.

Apropos of nothing I sometimes wonder if guys could carry and birth kids, would there be more or fewer abortions. I don't know the answer.

You’re assuming a family can survive on one income. There are a lot of instances these days where that simply is not factual.

Depends on how much their “fun” life would change I guess.

My money would be on more.

this would be fun to watch

I have 4 kids born in the summer time - all over 8 1/2 lbs

I’m sweating sitting in front of a fan thinking about it

(2 kids born in the fall)

I’m responding to a scenario you load out, asking about a 1 income family and its ability to pay for childcare. I’m not assuming anything.

I am fine with this.
There’s too many people in the world right now. The population will ebb and flow overtime.

The amount of bitching when they have just a common cold speaks volumes for their heartiness as breeding stock

The first month of morning sickness would probably drive GRT’s numbers on his question through the roof.

Ooofff! Especially the internal tears.

I had a friend with a really bad one. She stopped after that.

I think y'all would be very disappointed in the overall reaction.

I think it would be mostly funny

I know my relatives and coworkers found some humor in my temporary beached whale status
