On Monday night, a neighbor's home was seen taped off and flood lights were pointing on the yard. Detectives were seen taking pictures of the property and going in and out of the home. The home is about a half mile from the Codd's residence.
The neighbor's truck was also towed from the home.
A witness told FOX Carolina the neighbor was taken into custody. It is unknown if the person is facing charges at this time.
Online jail records indicate that a man was booked in the Buncombe County Detention Center on two first degree murder late Monday night. The man was also charged with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
The suspect is due to make his first appearance in court Tuesday morning

I don't mean to make light of the situation by any means, but this struck me as a strange name for a residential street:

I went to high school with a girl that is a cousin to this missing couple. She has been posting about them on fb the last few Days. As of this morning they were still searching for them. There is def a Louisiana connection there as well as Lsu. The girl is always posting about the saints and lsu on facebook. Hopefully they will be found.

Yes, she went to LSU. She used to hang out at our house all the time. Very sad situation.

A friend of mine knows them well. I think the girl went to LSU. They are talking about it on Facebook now.

Yea my fb friend is a black gal I grew up down the street from. Initials ED. She's been posting about it. They were friends for a while from LSU theater as I mentioned. This is a sucky sad situation. fricking time for Minority Report type shite to prevent pre-meditated murders at least.

Sorry for the bump. Found out she graduated from my high school (St. Martin HS in MS) and was friends with many of my old high school football coaches who went to school with her. Incredibly sad.

Apparently the girl is one of my Facebook friends cousins and the girl def went to lsu. Did they find their bodies or just evidence they are dead.
