His family putting a picture of his dead body at the morgue online is sickening. Poor kid.
Did they really? These people have no shame
They claim in the article, this is quoted, that they had to do it to "raise awareness". And maybe to make $70k? This is every bit as bad as excusing false race allegations to "start a conversation."

quote:In Emitt Till's picture he looks completely destroyed. His picture would have similarities to anyone who has been subjected to that level of trauma. I'm not sure what wounds on this kid would be indicative of lynching, specifically, and couldn't be caused numerous ways?
"I just know that if you look at the picture of Quawan, and you look at the picture of Emmett Till, there are a lot of similarities, and it does appear that he was lynched."

Nothing bad that happens to a black person is ever their fault... either the person that it happened to or those responsible for it. The root cause is always white racists. These MFers today want to act so badly like black people are still living in the 1950s Jim Crow South, nationwide. It's hilarious.

UPDATED in OP to link with photos. Clearly the damage to the face is from being face down in water and is not trauma damage. The skin is gone (as happens when bodies are in water) and not damaged as happens with trauma. Any reasonable person can see the difference.

There is a graphic picture of the body floating around. I didn't look long but it seems to me that the damage to his face is likely related to him being a drowning victim and then the body being exposed for a couple of days. The family saw this and assumed someone beat him.
More likely their lawyer and/or whoever local race baiter in chief is pushed them towards this and also including the picture on the gofund site for quick monetary gain.

The hair is in mint condition in both pics. It's just like a McDonalds french fry.

Why was a second thread on this topic moved to the OT when this was already here?

This is how these "activist" make their money. They don't give a frick about what happened, its just a situation they can exploit and they know what to say.
They probably reach out to the family, feed them a bunch of bullshite, tell them what to say to the media, bring some attention to it, get their cut of then money they helped raise then move on. A bunch of scammers.
