Ripley and our older dog are great friends and are an entertaining pair to watch. She loves to sneak all his toys into her own bed and try to block him from getting attention. She is constantly running into things. They crack me up everyday.
Do Stella and Pudge make a lot of funny sounds? Sometimes I swear Ripley is trying to speak English.

Pudge does have a “talking” voice. She has different sounds that she uses besides barking to get your attention. I swear that she says “No” when I ask her if she wants a bath—both girls hate baths. And today it sounded like Pudge said “I love you”. Corny I know but I stopped and thought to myself, “Did she just say that?” Stella does not have any extraordinary communication skills except the ability to bark for minutes without stopping. I think that the Foxhound genes are strongest in her and the German Shepherd tendencies are strongest in Pudge.
