Am going to miss our vet in Baton Rouge, Dr. Stringer at River Oaks Animal Hospital. For emergencies he would meet us at the office any time as long as he was in town.

That's why I'm glad we always had Dr. Rushing to take my family's animals to. She told us many times in no uncertain terms the expensive treatment was not worth it, and would not hesitate to give us the bad news.

Neighbor's Beagle was popped right in the face by a large Copperhead last week and his face was just swollen for a few days.

Dogs can take a snake bite. Pretty amazing.
