I'd think about moving.
Good thing no one was hurt.

I live in a nice part of Dallas. The apartment complex is gated community and require a background check and whatnot when you apply to live here.
Are you close to the section 8 part they built in order to get funding for the complex?

Cops just came by with CSI. Took 28 pictures but didn't extract bullet.
Cop said the neighbor confessed to it. Said he was cleaning his glock - and hopefully OT can help me with this - something about having to press the trigger to disassemble and clean it? I didn't quite understand, once again gun illiterate over here.
Fool didn't realize there was still a chamber in the round.
Cops are going to issue a disorderly conduct and send it to the DA to see if they want to do anything about it.
I asked about potential retaliation. The cops said they know the guy from previous incidents. He has honestly been trying to get his life in order and comes from a little bit rocky past and isn't the brightest guy. Apparently he is also the apartment owners son (which would explain how he was able to live here). He now has a family (wife and daughter) that live with him and they believe it was an honest mistake. So they didn't seem to worried about retaliation. It put me at ease a little bit but I might still go crash at a friends place for the night.

This thread may be better than the one about the guy thinking about fricking his cousin at a wedding.
Can I get a link for a little late night reading while we wait for the report on the OP's drug lord neighbor

About as boring of a conclusion as you could have given us.
Good for you. Shitty for thread

I have no idea how to find it. It was over the summer. It's worth the read if you can though.

Don't live in uptown, don't worry lol. Although there was that dentist that was murdered by her boyfriends ex-gf just recently in uptown. Crazy story. LINK

I gotta be honest, that is a pretty disappointing result.
I assume the rocky past doesn't prohibit him from owning a gun.
I'd probably crash at a friend's house tonight too.

Yea, I was disappointed for the thread to
I was hoping there was more but the officer didn't have much more other that they knew him from prior incidents.
Will take it to apartment manager tomorrow. Maybe I can get a free month stay.

I fear the cop is a moron.

Sounds like the cops know the apartment owner and the kid.
Honestly, I'd move with the quickness. The cops obviously aren't interested in bothering the neighbor or the owner and he's firing guns into your house.
