re: UPDATE: Body found in Brian Laundrie search

I just pulled up an article and it was spotted near Grand Teton on August 25th. That's a day after she checked out of the hotel and the same day that was the last time that her mom spoke to her.

I feel like it's a bigger stretch that the Telluride guy is tied to this. There are a lot of psychos camping out in these parks that were probably a lot closer to that couple's camp than he was.

I didn't mean for it to sound like you were reaching. A lot of people have mentioned this guy. It just seems weird to me that he'd travel all that way to kill (presumably) total strangers and leave all of those swords and whatever else behind.

So, he was back before she checked out of the hotel in SLC?

I guess that would mean that the window for something to have happened to her could be cut down to the 25th to the 29th, at the latest. Assuming that wherever the report came from that he arrived in Florida on the 1st is accurate.


ETA that I guess that it would also be possible for her to have been alive for all or most of the return trip. But given that the authorities don't seem to be searching for her in Florida, I guess that's pretty unlikely.

I just ran across this video on youtube and I'm only a few minutes into it. But it seems like a great timeline. There are witness accounts in here that I hadn't heard about.

I couldn't agree more. Every time him arriving in Florida on Sept 1st comes up, I'm wondering who the source is. He obviously got the van back to Florida at some point, but he could have turned right around and left again. Nobody that can be trusted has seen him.

I just did a little non scientific experiment by typing various ways I could misspell Yellowstone and I never had an auto correct suggest anything close to Yosemite.

I’ve been away all day and had been keeping up with this thread for the first ~75 pages

Instead of having to read 50 pages (obviously a lot happened today ) can anyone point me to what page a quick summary was posted on, or if there hasn’t been one posted I would greatly appreciate someone filling me in

Thanks for the head's up. It had only been uploaded for about 8 minutes when I ran across it. But I see now where some are commenting that the stickers match up on the back.

Between this and that timeline video that I posted right before this, it seems like there's a really good chance that they came across this van right before or after she disappeared.

It's creepy as Hell to think that she might have been inside it when the other couple from Florida got out to say hello.

I'm sure the FBI will want to see any raw video they have to see if the boyfriend or her are seen anywhere walking along.

I've been reading the comments the last few minutes and people are saying that the hat on the dash was also there in the traffic stop video and that there are so many other things that match up. Other commenters are saying that the rangers are telling all campers in the area to be out by morning.

Someone else mentioned that they found a broken plate with writing on it and an ear ring near where the van was parked.

This couple's video might end up being the biggest break in all of this. Unreal. And it still only has a few thousand views. I bet it's in the millions within 24 hrs.
