The timeline, if true, that he was hitchhiking and got dropped off at Jackson Lake Dam on Aug 30th and ended up in Tampa on Sept 1st has me puzzled

How would the police even know that he arrived in Florida on September 1? Do they have footage proving it? Laundrie wasn't on their radar until September 11. Are we just taking the parents' words for it?

I don’t know how they know but that is their statement
They are the ones standing by that fact that he arrived in Tampa on Sept 1st.
