Update (02/04/18) on Vote for Me Project

Well guys, it's Superbowl Sunday and I thought I'd stay in touch with this crazy project to send the wife and I to Italy.

is in first place (Duh) with 3614 votes. Thanks for your support. I remain shocked at how many of you folks are voting daily. I am certain they thought a voting robot was in play, but that is not the case and they have the program running to assure all votes are real people actually voting.

The top three vote getters (voting stops March 31)will be evaluated by a panel of food experts (?) toward the first week of April. The cannelloni post is so far ahead, I have no idea how anyone could pass it.

Today, the Steak on a grill post is in second place with 281 votes. This is a TD project, and probably all of these votes, except maybe 10 have been filed by TD Folks.

The Turkey Spaghetti post is currently in third place with 246 votes

One competition worry at the moment is a Post for a Pastry Wrapped Moscato Poached pear that currently has 227 votes and is in 4th place, after being in the competition for maybe 4 days. It is a pretty desert and a great photo. If it hits the top three it will be a strong contender to win.

Such is life.


I have a ricotta cheesecake desert post that I entered. today it has 8 votes. I know in one day, TD folks could all vote and push it into second place. Honestly the pear recipe worries me, because It was entered only four day back. Obviously a group of people is pushing that entry - Maybe the Big-10 sports board

Yesterday, I entered a recipe for my Veal with capers.

That post will show up tomorrow I guess. They don't bring up entries that are filed on the weekends for whatever reason, until Monday of the following week.
