What areas are considered unsafe to live in, here in Baton Rouge. I am new to the area. Thanks!

Anywhere around Cortana Mall, anywhere between State Street and Downtown, North Baton Rouge, Gardere. If you stay around Perkins, Jefferson Highway, south of LSU, Coursey, Highland Road, and Acadian between Perkins and Catholic High, you'll be fine.

You should ask for safe places. Much shorter list.

There is no safe area in Baton Rouge, not as long as BRPD continues to employ this murderer: LINK /

Why do I feel like this is an alter troll and someone will likely get banned before page 4?

Generally avoid anywhere north of Florida Blvd.
There are some undesirable pockets a few places south of Florida, but they should be easy to spot.

Any street named after a State.

It's north of I-12
"North of Florida" was 10 years ago
The line has moved
The only people still saying "north of Florida" are people still hanging on in Sherwood and Broadmoor subdivisions.
Look at all the home invasions between Florida and Old Hammond.
