Until you can point out actual data showing a different denial rate, which UHC absolutely will not disclose, you don't have a point. The study you linked doesn't do that. In fact, it doesn't comment on UHC at all unless you want to dig through an Excel file.

Actually, I don't have to do any of that. You can't present data from the marketplace, from a single State, for a single type of claim, for a single year and present it as representative of the entire market.
The data you presented does not say what you claim it does. That is a irrefutable fact. So, I have nothing to argue against. Your claim is not true.
And I don't have to prove that UHC doesn't deny 1/3 of it's claims. Thats impossible to anyone who knows anything about insurance.

Issuers that report denying one-third or more of all in-network claims in 2021 included Meridian Health Plan of Michigan, Absolute Total Care in South Carolina, Celtic Insurance in 7 states (FL, IL, IN, MO, NH, TN, TX), Ambetter Insurance in 3 states (GA, MS, NC), Optimum Choice in Virginia, Buckeye Community Health Plan in Ohio, Health Net of Arizona, and UnitedHealthcare of Arizona.

Glenn Greenwald had a video about this. His late husband had some health issues and they had problems with health insurance. This is in Brazil. The parent company of their health insurance company is/was United Health.
It's been really interesting seeing the reaction to this killing veer so far from the act to the disdain for health insurance companies.
I'd like to remind everyone that my healthcare plan would have fixed all of this.
