Damn. Sucks all the way around. The rank and file just following orders probably hate that shite. Those dudes last night rattling their shields and using intimidation tactics were obvious assholes and part of heavy gov't indoctrination practices.
I'm with the protesters, the Ukrainian gov't is passing some shitty legislation that Ukraine took huge risks to break away from the Soviets as much as they have in the past.

I hope these guys aren't just pissed off low education soccer hooligans spoiling for a chance to break shite, and actually care enough to put together a dedicated movement for change; I guess we'll see. There are a lot of far-right nationalist types in the crowd that may drown out the moderate voices when push comes to shove. There are a whole lot of protesters that aren't engaging in violence, who don't want it to end like this.
ETA: I asked this on Reddit and everyone lost their shite and downvoted me to hell. I know that most of the protesters are quite reasonable. But I have to imagine a lot of these rough looking types throwing Molotov cocktails at the police might be ultras spoiling for a fight.
