I'm sorry and I really don't mean to sound stupid, but what was the point of entering the building and forcing the issue?? They had them surrounded. This has bad news all over it.

Camera pulls back, and all the action is at the front entrance. Why don't the protestors try to get in another entrance, or, why don't the Berkut try to get out through another entrance?

I guess that, like at the barricades, they don't want to just charge the armed Berkut. Maybe just trying to force them to quit via standoff?
