In Independence Day, Randy Quaid's character is mocked and rediculed for saying he was upducted by aliens. Then 100 million aliens show up all over the world and start killing people and people still give Randy a snarky look when he says he was once kidnapped by aliens; like they still don't believe him. This always bothered me. Anyway, that's my alien story

Dr Alan Hynek of NW already did a disclosure on TV in Chicago.
interviewed eyewitnesses.
said that there are two species/races visiting Earth.
He was the paid debunker for the USAF. He said, you can't debunk it. its truth.
It was not picked up by the national news.

Whether we have been visited or not, I don't know. I doubt it, but the subject always did interest me.
As far as alien life, I still don't know. But, as large as the universe is I'd be surprised if there isn't some sort of intelligent life out there.
ETA: I thought you were combining UFOS and aliens too. I have no doubt the government is flying all kinds of this that we don't know about, but I can't see why they would just be hovering over some average Joe's house.
