They are both douches, no doubt.
But, apparently the motorcyclist basically followed him and came up to his window. Just going by what I often see, the motorcyclist was probably driving like a fricking retard and got pissed when someone almost hit him.
I really can't blame the guy for pulling a gun on some irate motorcyclist that followed him and came up to his window pissed off....

As a pussy, it was the only deterrent he had to keep from getting his arse beat. There are a lot of people in the world who are quite confident in their inability to fight. Some people are skilled at fighting but would prefer not to fight some random maniac on the street. A gun is a pretty good deterrent in both cases. That gun kept that guy from a physical altercation regardless of which category he is in. "Calm" for both parties was gone the moment they triggered each other's rage. The gun kept the biker from punching the guy through his window.

this is one of the few examples where I would be opposed to concealed or open carry, taking the course is one thing but there's no way to know what kind of idiots will be carrying and what kind of mental disposition they have, general rule of thumb when I was coming up was don't pull out any hardware unless you are going to use it

It worked, it could have ended very badly. But what if the guy started throwing punches through the window? He pulls the trigger out of fear, kills the guy. in this case the gun is just a license for the pussy to be a dick(pun,) if there's no gun he exercises either courtesy or self restraint because the potential penalty for being a dick is an arse whooping, but since he has the gun he is a dick, he also doesn't know whether the other dick has a weapon or what the potential reaction will be when he sees the weapon, two or more people could have been killed over nothing really, because the little prick substitutes a .45 for a set of balls and/or self restraint
