Tuna and cheese cracker vomit that was left at the scene of a botched home burglary has led to the arrest of a Limestone County man, authorities said.

James Marlon White was arrested after a DNA analysis linked him to the pile of vomit that was left at the scene of a March 16 burglary on the 14000 block of Section Line Road. White is a 35-year-old from Elkmont.

The home owner caught White in his house and confronted the suspect in the hallway. The suspect was holding a gun he found inside the home. White dropped the gun and ran out through the basement, "vomiting tuna fish and cheese crackers," sheriff's spokesman Stephen Young said.
