How long have you had it and have you had much of an issue with it fading? I'll keep the extra hundred if it's really a worthless up sell.

Had it since 12, can't say I noticed any fading. A friend has had the regular on his 2007 F150, and it still looks good. Had it done in 2009 or 2010.

I wasn't talking about damaging it, I was talking about the effectiveness of getting the shovel to get the sand or dirt out. I've seen them with a ton of texture and it doesn't seem ideal in the least.
My shite is plastic now since I drive a toy truck.

And a rubber mat will be any better? Just sweep the rest out, problem solved.

It does a good job of keeping items from sliding around, and one can throw whatever they want in their bed: dirt, shingles, rock. When you're done, just hose it off and it looks brand new again. Line-X is the only company I have experience with, so I cannot speak for the others.

I don't have a truck, but I think I'm getting my wheel wells sprayed with Line-X when I get a new SUV soon.

Had an f150 for 8 years with no liner. Bought it new. Had the bed scratched from hailing all kinds of cargo, debris, bricks etc. It never did show signs of rust. I just don't see the point of trying to keep a bed perfect looking.

Definitely spray in. Look to spend about $3-$400 for a good one.

I was kidding. But now I actually want to know how much that would cost.
I do know it helps with the salt corrosion from the roads in the winter here. We get a fair amount of ice and salt on the ground.

A couple of friends of mine had that stuff sprayed into the bottoms of their aluminum jon boats. Looked good and stayed relatively cool in direct sunlight. The guy doing the spraying quit doing it on account of the enormous prep time required.

Meh. I guess it's just not a preference. I don't care what the bed looks like and it did not affect the trade in.
