I know but they usually dissipate before they make it this far. I usually don't tune in until I know they are near the metroplex

Well this quickly became a one pony show, pretty much everything in the DFW area has faded except for that one super cell to the SW. It won't have anything to disrupt it as it moves east but it may go the way of all the other cells.

In case anyone is wondering, last night at about 10 PM I walked off of my porch in northwest Louisiana and went into a crouch position. I then pulled a hand full of grass and let it fall from my hand. I observed the blades of grass as they fell to the ground and then I knowingly looked to the western sky and nodded. I then predicted all but 3 of the tornado warnings we have seen today.

Looking ominous for Granbury, TX and Oak Trail Shores to the north along the Brazos River.

Looks like the loss of the sun has killed the tornados. Took a break and came back to see everything in NE Texas is dying down.

Damage in our neighborhood. Fences down, gutters floating down the street, definite roof damage. Still raining too hard to check it out any further.

Looking at intense lines all the way through 6 tonight

ETA: fence flew through neighbor's window. Brick wall down on outside of neighborhood.

Heavy police & fire presence throughout neighvorhood. Trees broken in half, heavy roof damage, broken windows, etc. don't know if it was a small tornado or the winds but our neighborhood is a bit of a mess right now.

You must be in the Highland Village area. That sucks for you and your neighbors. Could have been much worse.

No. We are west & South of Highland Village. Off Teel & Stonebrook. We came through ok. 2 streets a block over are a mess. Our damage definitely looks like it could just be wind damage but theirs is worse. I do wonder if that rotation they spotted over us touched down briefly as the heavier damage is in a concentrated area. So thankful it wasn't worse.

Not sure where that is, but South and West of Highland Village is Flower Mound. Maybe you meant East and North like my wife would say.

We're out by Tour 18. No damage here to report. Stay safe.
