I dont use electrical devices when on an airplane. I dont want to be the one going to jail if my flight crashes.

MSY is one of the few airports I can catch a signal a few minutes before landing.
Since I'm a child this forces me to live text my landing to some poor son of a bitch I feel like annoying.

When I fly American, I typically spend the $3.95 to use messaging apps (i.e. iMessage). Other than that, I'll just listen to music or read on my Kindle.

I've spent the $2 a few times for messaging on Southwest. Though it's pretty useless for me as I spend about 99% of the flight white knuckled and trying to drink as much as possible to deal with flying
